NIMS & Houston Community College CNC Program Featured in Houston Chronicle

Visit the Houston Chronicle online for a closer examination of the steps being taken by the CNC Program at Houston Community College to address the industry's lack of "makers for the takers," as recent grad Matt Adams mentions in the article.  Matt has earned 11 NIMS credentials to date, including the Certificate of Special Merit.  His efforts, along with those of other students and CNC program faculty, have resulted in more than 80 NIMS credentials being issued in the past six months alone.

At NIMS we are very pleased to be working with the CNC/manufacturing team at Houston Community College, as led by Paul Quinn, Dean of Workforce and Construction Trades, and we look forward to accrediting the CNC Program in the future.
