Accreditation Renewed at Tulsa Technology Center

We are pleased to announce that the Machining Technology Program at Tulsa Technology Center (TTC) in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is awarded with NIMS Accreditation for excellence in metalworking training.  By maintaining their status as a NIMS-accredited program, the staff and faculty at TTC have demonstrated their continued commitment to high standards for metalworking training in the state of Oklahoma and for the greater industry in the United States.

The one-day On-Site Evaluation was conducted by NIMS Executive Director and Evaluation Team Leader Jim Wall and occurred at the tech center on March 13, 2013.  Following his visit, Mr. Wall submitted his recommendation to that NIMS officially renew the program's accreditation.  In his final evaluation report, Mr. Wall gave the program high ratings in all evaluation areas, including Purpose, Facilities, Equipment/Tooling/Measuring Devices, Program Features, Administration, Instructional Staff, Student Credentialing, and Advisory Committee.  Combined with evidence of the program's continuous efforts to credential students with NIMS national skills certifications, the accreditation at the tech center was officially renewed as of August 19, 2013.
