Ryan has more than 30 years in Operations, beginning with 3 years as a machinist in a small machine shop prior to spending 27 years and counting at Woodward, Inc. (formerly Woodward Governor). During his time at Woodward, he has held roles as Machinist, Manufacturing Engineer, Six Sigma Blackbelt, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, CI Manager, Operations Training Manager, Manufacturing Director and most recently Global Operations Training Manager.

In his current role he leads a matrixed organization of Operations Training Managers across multiple sites. Each site has its own Operations Training Programs that include enterprise and site-specific initiatives that support the skills development of more than 3,000 direct labor members. 

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management & Leadership from Judson University.
