Qualifications: Education: A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required. An earned Master's degree from an accredited institution is preferred, but not required. Experience: Five (5) years of direct and successful work experience in the Manufacturing and / or Construction industry is required. Three (3) years of direct experience in the development of relevant workforce training for industry sector required. Demonstrated thorough knowledge of skills and knowledge needed at multiple levels of the industry sector and involvement with industry skills certifications processes highly preferred. Community college instructional administration and teaching experience a plus.
Job Description: Provide strategic development leadership in instructional and training program planning, facilities design, development, accreditation, recruitment of qualified and experienced faculty and students for the workforce programs of the designated industry cluster programs and coordinate and integrate the work of its several departments throughout the district. Lead the high level engagement and participation of business and employer leaders in the growth of the cluster area programs. Lead and oversee the strategic development, growth and positive performance of related cluster programs district-wide based on established metrics.
