Qualifications: Minimum requirements • Two or more years of technical knowledge of tooling application within industrial, automotive, aerospace, maritime or special application is required. • Two or more years experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or Technical Support in the cutting tool or machining industry is preferred. • Ability to work effectively with a wide range interaction of internal associates and external customers and in various customer settings. • Duties require broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to solve complex customer issues. Must have MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint, Internet and e-mail experience. The candidate must reside in or near the territory being serviced and must be able to travel over-night up to 50% of the time. A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering or substantial equivalent experience is minimum. Selected candidates will be required to meet the requirements of our comprehensive testing, must be successful in a pre-employment physical and drug screen. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and positive previous employment verification is necessary.

The job includes: • Sell through industrial distribution and to OEM customers. • Make sales contacts, research customer needs and influence customers. • Provide training to distributors on tool application and the benefits of our tools. • Solve problems with our products on tool applications and technical use. • Assist with trials and demonstrations including attending required trade shows at national and local level. • Follow up on sales leads, maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. Communicate trends supporting marketing initiatives.
