Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have a HS Diploma or GED and minimum two years experience in set-up of CO2 Mazak laser machine cutting steel, stainless and aluminum. Must have math and computer skills and the ability to make precise adjustments. adding, subtracting, multiplication, division for the purpose of calculating material fabrication. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints/geometric tolerances to determine part specifications. Knowledge of appropriate speeds and feeds for materials and tools. Proven ability to work with precision measuring instruments: calipers, ID and OD. Communication skills important. Must follow safety rules. Preferred completion of related trade school program. Forklift experience preferred

For further information company information please go to ICA Corporation is seeking a 1st shift CO2 Mazak Laser Operator. Sets up and operates computer-controlled Mazak CO2 laser machine to perform specified functions cutting steel, stainless, and aluminum. Duties include *Sets up and operates computer-controlled Mazak CO2 laser machine to perform specified short run jobs cutting steel, stainless, and aluminum. *Works from blueprints, specification and/or instructions. *Trims excess material. *Checks parts: assesses quality of operation using a variety of measurement instruments. *Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance parts and adjust machine, within capabilities, controls as required to insure quality of productions. *Reports all machine malfunctions. *Maintains equipment and work area; performs basic equipment preventative maintenance. For this position we are considering candidates who prefer first shift (Monday through Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-11:00am). Excellent benefits and competitive pay.
