Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role). Ability to create CNC programs for 4-axis lathes and 5-axis machine centers using MasterCam or NX manufacturing package. Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes of high temperature nickel alloys utilized in aerospace engines. Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using NX software. Strong understanding of the practical application and verification of GD&T. Ability to design tooling to support safety, quality and productivity objectives. Ability to manage projects in a team environment. Ability to effectively influence and motivate others. Strong negotiation skills and able to lead by example. Six Sigma training is preferred. Strong propensity for excelling in a demanding environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Job Description: The Process Engineer develops processes and provides direction and assistance to his work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and solve manufacturing problems through immediate. Encourage and maintain a safe work environment. Produce manufacturing processes with the utmost integrity and adherence to Quality policy. Support site initiatives for Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and productivity improvements. Support and meet development and production schedules, driving productivity, and quality initiatives, and manage the areas within budget guidelines and controls. Determine the proper manufacturing processes for assembly, machining, inspection, and test of required components. Evaluate manufacturing processes for improvement of product flow, cost, and First Time Yield (FTY). Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships. Provide direction, leadership, and technical support for production shop. Analyze technical drawings and data and offer configuration changes to enhance product manufacturability.
